Razordance CNC routers are medium sized machines designed to be at home in an industrial or serious amateur woodworking or plastics environment. Based around the 3-axes gantry model in order to have as small a footprint as possible, they are seriously rugged, accurate, fast and very reasonably priced. They are offered as manufactured to order, semi assembled kit systems, where you the customer get to choose what size footprint best suits your requirements. Minimum sizes of axes in terms of cutting area are X:750mm and Y:500mm. Maximum X:1500mm and Y:1500mm. Z is standard at 110mm but can be changed upon request within reason. All components are top quality, brand new and are sourced from industry leading suppliers. You'll find no 'V-edge' angle-iron, pipe fittings, studding, draw-slides or roller-blade wheels here! Specifications:
The kit is shipped as four ready assembled axis components, ready assembled power & control unit, wiring loom, spindle and remote E-Stop. Assembly is straightforward and should take about an hour. IMPORTANT: The kit does NOT include any machine guards or dust extraction system. It is the user's responsibility to make sure that all Health & Safety requirements appropriate to the use of this machine in their operating environment are met. To control your Razordance CNC router you'll need a PC and motion control software. I can supply you with either or both, or if you prefer you can supply your own. To site your router you'll need a good solid, flat table or base. Depending on what you want to make you may need a CAD package and a CAM package. Again I can supply these or you can supply your own. Whatever your choice of software I can give you advice if you need it. It's my intention to provide a wider range of CNC machines in the future, so be sure to check back now and then if your interest lies more with CNC milling, CNC lathes or CNC plasma cutting. Also, though I can't make any guarantees, if you have a novel CNC requirement that you'd like to discuss it's always worth dropping me a line. |
